STILLWATER – Oklahoma State Softball’s Lexi Kilfoyl picked up a pair of weekly awards, the Wilson/NFCA D1 National Pitcher of the Week and Big 12 Pitcher of the Week, it was announced today.

The graduate senior threw three complete-game shutouts, including tossing blanks against then-No. 16/19 Florida and then-No. 4/4 Washington. The win over the Huskies was OSU’s shutout over an NFCA top-five opponent since 2017.

Kilfoyl earned the first national weekly honors of her career, and OSU’s first national Pitcher of the Week award since Anna Whiddon in 2010. The Big 12 award is the third weekly conference honor of her career.

In her three appearances this week, Kilfoyl pitched 21.0 shutout innings with only six hits given up and 18 strikeouts. Against the Land O’ Lakes native this week, opponents were batting a mere .090.

Kilfoyl’s improved her season ERA to 1.05 across 10 appearances on the year. She’s tallied 28 strikeouts in 33.1 innings pitched.

Kilfoyl and the Cowgirls ride their seven-game winning streak into the home opener tonight, with a doubleheader against South Dakota State on tap. First pitch for game one is set for 4 p.m., with game two scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m. Fans can listen on KVRO 101.1 FM or the Varsity Network app.
