Oklahoma State Offers 2025 Edge Rusher CJ May
STILLWATER – The search for the second piece of the 2025 recruiting class for Oklahoma State football continues, a search which has made its way east to Alabama.
CJ May, a four-star defensive end out of Highland Home, AL, announced an offer from the Pokes on Wednesday.
May checks in at 6-4, 215 pounds and currently holds 20 offers, including Arkansas, Auburn, Clemson, Duke, Georgia, Miami, Ole Miss, Penn State and South Carolina among others, He was committed to Notre Dame, but de-committed earlier this month.
The 247Sports composite rankings, which combines every major recruiting service’s rankings and averages them, has May as a four-star prospect and the No. 316 overall prospect, the No. 26 overall edge rusher in the class and the No. 16 overall prospect out of Alabama.
Highland Home, which very well might have the coolest team name in the history of high school football, the Flying Squadron, finished with a 10-2 overall record this past season. According to the team’s MaxPreps page, May finished the season with 54 total tackles, 27 of which were solo stops, including 7.5 sacks, 29 quarterback hurries, one interception for 39 yards, six pass break ups, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and one interception for 39 yards.
However, it’s certainly possible those numbers aren’t complete as his Hudl highlights of his junior season begin with a 26-yard pick six. But they’re certainly solid numbers to start with.
The Cowboys currently have one commitment in the 2025 class, Matrail Lopez, an athlete out of Idabel, OK.
