Oklahoma State Offers 2025 Four-Star Running Back Karson Cox

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State is constantly looking for future talent and even with a talented running back room like John Wozniak has, there’s always room to add and improve and that search has made a stop in Hesperia, CA, and running back, Karson Cox.

Checking in at 6-0. 190 pounds, Cox is a four-star running back for Oak Hills in the 2025 class and checks in as the No. 231 overall prospect in the class according to the 247Sports composite rankings, the No. 18 overall running back in the class and the No. 23 overall prospect out of California.

He currently holds 14 offers, including Arizona, Arizona State, BYU, Kansas, Oregon, Oregon State, USC, Utah and Washington among others.

This past season as a junior, Cox had a monster year on the offensive side of the ball, rushing for 1,349 yards and 19 touchdowns on 128 carries. He also had 12 receptions for 176 yards and three receiving touchdowns. And he recorded 23 total tackles and three sacks playing linebacker on the other side of the ball. To go along with his running back talent, Cox is a track star as he’s posted an 11.22 time in the 100 meter and a 22.93 time in the 200 meter.

With the recruiting dead period officially over, you’re going to see a flurry of offers and recruiting news/updates out of the West End Zone in the coming weeks. However, it’s still a quiet period, so you won’t see coaches going out and seeing/evaluating prospects, just prospects on campus for visits.
