Competition Day Lives Up to Standards, Players Love It

The Oklahoma State offseason football tradition never fails to be exciting, emotional, and as much fun as a player can have while getting bigger, stronger, faster, more explosive, and more competitive.

STILLWATER – Watching Competition Day during the Oklahoma State football offseason never disappoints. I get it. The competition is like watching the old ABC Superstars competition. There are sometimes mismatches when an offensive linemen goes against a cornerback in the sled pull or when a cowboy back goes against a running back in the obstacle course.

Love these Competition Days. I believe they are great in learning to prep, team-building, focus, and development. I really like hearing how the new young'uns are doing as well as the veterans that are in the leadership roles. It's good to hear that Preston Wilson is coming on - my son coached against him at Anna, said he was a man among boys. Now I'm following Silas Barr who comes from nearby Pottsboro. Go Pokes!
