STILLWATER – Lexi McDonald and Micaela Wark both plated a pair of runs at the No. 6 Oklahoma State softball team defeated Texas Tech, 6-4, to claim the series sweep Sunday afternoon at Cowgirl Stadium.

The win improves the Cowgirls to 39-8 on the year (16-5 in the Big 12). The loss drops the Red Raiders to 26-16 overall (6-12 in the Big 12).
Jilyen Poullard got the Cowgirls on the board in the first scoring on a wild pitch.
OSU added a pair of runs in the second on an RBI double from McDonald and an RBI single from Jilyen Poullard.
In the third, Oklahoma State tallied three more runs on a two-run double from Wark and a sacrifice fly from McDonald.
In the fourth, Texas Tech answered back with a two-run home run from Abbie Orrick to cut the lead to 6-2. The Red Raiders added another in the fifth on an RBI single from Riley Love.
Texas Tech drove home a run in the sixth inning on an RBI single from Carson Armijo.
Offensively, OSU was led by Wark (1-for-2 with two RBIs), McDonald (1-for-2 with two RBIs) and Poullard (1-for-3 with an RBI).

In the circle, Ivy Rosenberry improved to 13-3 on the season going five innings and striking out three. Ranci Willis fell to 3-1 for the Red Raiders after taking the loss. Lexi Kilfoyl picked up her third save on the year.
