STILLWATER – Oklahoma State is still looking to put the final touches of the 2025 recruiting class, with at least one more spot going to a defensive back. Taijh Overton, a safety out of Mobile, AL, took to Twitter to announce an offer from the Pokes.
Overton checks in at 6-2, 190 pounds, and currently holds at least 15 offers, including Arkansas, Florida State, Liberty, Memphis, Missouri, Ole Miss and UCF among others.
He’s also currently committed to Arkansas.
This past season as a junior at Williamson High School, Overton recorded an impressive 116 total tackles, nine tackles for loss, including two sacks, 19 pass breakups, three picks and a forced fumble and fumble recovery.
Up to this point in the recruiting cycle, the Cowboys have 10 commitments in the 2025 class, including QB Adam Schobel, WRs Jaden Perez, Matrail Lopez, Kam Powell and Royal Capell, OL Jaylan Beckley, Isaiah Kema and Ryker Haff, TE Jordan Vyborny and linebacker Kyle Keya.
