Oklahoma State Picks Up Commitment From Running Back D.J. Dugar
STILLWATER – Oklahoma State has now filled another position in the 2025 recruiting class as D.J. Dugar has given Oklahoma State the running back the Cowboys were looking for in the class.
Cowboy football has hosted four different running backs between April and June. Dugar is actually the back with the most yards gained. He committed to the Cowboys on his way out the door from his official visit June 13-15.
You can see that Dugar is a big runner at 6-0 and over 200 pounds. Check out his highlights.
For the past three seasons he has been a standout at Leander (Tom Glenn), Texas, but has moved to Pflugerville and Weiss High School for his senior season.
Dugar is a massive yardage bulldozer as he had 198 carries for 1,510-yards and 18 rushing touchdowns as a junior in 2023. He is a four-year contributor as he earned District 13-5A Offensive Newcomer of the Year honors as a freshman. He is a two-time All-District first-team performer as a sophomore and junior. His three-year totals so far are 533 carries for 3,824-yards and 48 touchdowns.
Dugar has 16 scholarship offers and his decision came down to the Cowboys with Michigan State (June 17 visit) and Kansas State (June 21 visit). It is expected that he will not make those visits with the Spartans and the Wildcats.
Pokes Report believes that Dugar is the 13th commitment in the Oklahoma State class, and he is the 11th offensive player to commit in the class.
