Oklahoma State Wrestling Flips OU Commitment Austin Johnson
STILLWATER – Oklahoma State wrestling and David Taylor has landed another commitment in the upcoming class, this time flipping a commitment from OU.
Austin Johnson, who’s been committed to OU since April, announced his commitment to the Pokes http://instagr.am/p/C_QjsuGpCtl?img_index=1">via Instagram on Thursday.

Johnson is out of Muncy, PA, while competing for the M2 Training Center, David Taylor’s club in Pennsylvania. He’s a top-50 recruit in the class out of Muncy, where he’s a three-time state finalist at 215 pounds, winning one state title.
He’s also a talented running back as he’s posted at least 1,000 yards rushing in each season.
Johnson marks the 11th commitment for the Pokes in the 2025 class, which features the third-ranked wrestler in the country in Stillwater’s LaDarion Lockett.
