Oklahoma State Climbs One Spot In Updated Weekly Polls
STILLWATER – Oklahoma State climbed one spot in the both of the updated polls, the USA Today Coaches Poll an the Associated Press top 25 following the 44-20 win over South Dakota State in the season opener.
The Cowboys were ranked No. 18 in the coaches poll and No. 17 in the Associated Press going into the season.

The Cowboys combined for 394 total yards, 267 passing yards from Alan Bowman on 25-of-34 passing with three touchdowns. Ollie Gordon rushed for 104 yards and two touchdowns on 27 carries, with Bowman, Trent Howland, Sesi Vailahi and Brennan Presley combining for the remaining 23 yards.
Receiving, Presley had 35 yards and one touchdown, De’Zhaun Stribling with 83 yards and a touchdown, Rashod Owens with 81 yards and a touchdown and Gordon II with 42 yards and a touchdown.
Safety Trey Rucker posted a game-high 15 total tackles, nine of which were solo stops.
