STILLWATER – I’m a World War II historian, my father and my uncle both served in World War II. My uncle lost his brother in the war. I truly believe it was the most defining period in American history outside of the Revolutionary War and the Civil War. Okay, so bear with me here as I go back to the original mivie, Midway in 1976. The movie depicts the first major American win in the Pacific theater.

I'll take the win and I agree with RA...I don't know how the Pokes did it. Their DL was absolutely mauled in the first half. The OL could open any holes in the run game. QB was off target on so many throws. The defense gave up 648 yards. 648 yards in one game!!! Arkansas outgained the Pokes by 263 yards! This win is a tribute to coach Gundy and his staff making adjustments and the players' resilience! Go Pokes!!!

Excluding Bedlam,2 OSU V ARK in Stillwater games are my most memorable to be attending. The game back in the 70's included a goal line stop on our 2 and a 98 yard like 18 play drive to score our only touchdown to win the the game. ( 13 to 9 I think ). Our young men played with great effort yesterday and made us and themselves proud.

I love stats and one stat grouping is being over looked and to me it comes under the category..."what did you have to sacrifice to stop Ollie"

Arkansas had ZERO sacks.....ZERO QB hurries and only three TFLs

OSU had THREE sacks......TEN QB hurries and TEN TFLs

Too me it looked like Bowman thought he was being pressured in the first half, but he wasn't, he figured out in the second half that he really wasn't
