X's and O's Take Care of Themselves in Tulsa, Players Attitude is What's Special

TULSA – The visiting locker room at the University of Tulsa is crowded, players have to share lockers and there are rows of benches the length of the room where other players have to change and keep their equipment bags and personal clothing andf toiletries. The bunker-style situation includes little air conditioning and after a game the steam of the showers. Let’s just say the goal is to get out of there as soon as humanly possible.

Hey bud, he isstill an 18 year old freshman, he will get there BUT PROBABLY NOT THIS YEAR!

Did you have a bad weekend? Nothing I said disrespected the kid.Robert created a buzz on him in the spring but then I had read nothing this fall. I was simply curious about him and his progress. You have created a mountain from a molehill.

Hello…. Armstrong did have an injury in fall camp but is recovering now. He is a solid strong young man and I believe he will come back stronger than ever. So thankful he can have a redshirt year to get back better than ever for the spring.

Thank you!!! Robert knew this but cannot report it or incur the wrath of the head coach and be kicked out ordenied access when it comes to injuries during fall camp!!! He is a big strong young man and will be a force in years to come but not this year unfortunately!!!
