When Will Oklahoma State and Kansas State Kick Off? Six-Day Window?

STILLWATER – We did not put a story out on Monday citing the next game’s kickoff time for Oklahoma State at Kansas State. The reason iswe don’t have it. The networks ESPN/ABC and FOX put the Big 12 in a massive holding pattern on kickoffs for Sept. 28. In a battle of ranked teams Oklahoma State will travel to Manhattan, Kan. That would look like the top game, but this week you have the Cowboys hosting the Utah Utes. It is Arizona at Utah that is the one game on Sept. 28 in the Big 12 that has a kick time of 9:15 (CT). All other games are on hold:

Colorado at UCF

Oklahoma State at Kansas State

BYU at Baylor

Cincinnati at Texas Tech

Iowa State at Houston

On the national scene, Georgia at Alabama is the game of the day and will play in prime time on ABC. You canbet thatESPN College Gameday will be in Tuscaloosa for that one.

The top three Big 12 games listed above look like they could be the best game in any one of the network’s time slots at 11 a.m. (CT) and 2:30 p.m. (CT). They could also be the top game for FOX in prime time. 

I believe sincerely that if Oklahoma State handles Utah and Kansas State beats BYU this week that FOX will make Manhattan, Kan. their home that day for FOX Big Noon Kickoff. Otherwise, if either the Cowboys or the Wildcats lose then this game could wind up on ESPN or ABC at 11 a.m. and on any of the networks in the 2:30 p.m. time slot.
