The Oklahoma State defense had it's moments and in the first half when Oklahoma State led 13-7 there were chances to take control but they didn't.

STILLWATER – If somebody had told me that Oklahoma State on defense would force seven three-and-outs on the Kansas State offense I would have taken that. The Wildcats punted seven times to the Cowboys five. The problem was the Cowboys defense also allowed Kansas State 16 plays that covered 10-or-more yards. Chunk plays are generally 20-yards-or-more. The Wildcats unfortunately had too many of those.
