Let's all save some time, anxiety, heartache, and be realisticaly & totally honest with ourselves. Gundy hasn't won an outright Big 12 or national championship game (other than the "de-facto" big 12 championship), and probably never will. There is no better indicator of the future, than the past. OSU doesn't even belong on the same field or sentence with the likes of Alabama, Georgia, Ohio St., etc... Being embarrassed by TX in last years big 12 championship was proof of the aforementioned. If anyone thinks we can win a national championship with our current state of recruiting, NIL, athletes, and coaching, you're either in denial or lying to yourself. There is no doubt that Gundy is a great coach, and we owe him a great deal of gratitude for advancing the program. That being said, things are going to have to change in order for this program to advance to the next level. What is our end goal? Content with being bowl eligible? Content with 8-10 win seasons? A conference win every 18 years? Or a program that competes for and wins National Championships?? Just asking...
