Sorry Robert but I don't share your optimism. Nardo's scheme is fatally flawed and the injuries are a convenient excuse. We gave up a ton of huge plays last season too. Would be nice to win homecoming but I'm afraid Skattebo is going to go for 200 yards against us. Maybe Presley can at least get the record in this game.

I was thinking the same Why are we focusing on injured players instead of the players that are playing. I would like to hear more about the players that are on the field on Saturday.

This is the most disappointing team in the Gundy era, and, as much as I hate to say it, I don't see this game being much different than the last 5. We overachieved last year and are underachieving this year.

It is essentially the same scheme that Iowa State is using to be a top three defense in the league! It isn't the scheme but the players or personnel! Not even attempting a tackle, half arsing it out on the field, not doing the fundamental things like wrapping up to complete the tackle!!! Now you can point the finger at the coaches for not instilling those fundamentals!!!

Setting up excuses for why Nardo will be a coach next season.
