Updated: NCAA Transfer Portal Closes, But This Portal Period is Far from Over

STILLWATER – The NCAA Transfer Portal window closed at midnight Dec. 29. Now, football athletes from schools that either didn’t qualify for bowl games, played in bowl games prior to Christmas day, or are from a division other than Division I FBS or Division I FCS and not North Dakota State or Montana State cannot enter the portal. Oklahoma State is in that category and no new Cowboys entered the portal. Athletes in the portal can always exit.
