CLEARWATER, Fla. – A walk-off two-run single from Rosie Davis with two outs in the bottom of the seventh lifted Oklahoma State to a 4-3 comeback win over No. 12 Alabama on Sunday night at the Eddie C. Moore Complex.

The Cowgirls (5-4 overall) entered the seventh trailing, 3-1, before Tallen Edwards doubled home Rachael Hathoot to trim the deficit to one. Davis’s single completed the comeback and gave OSU its second dramatic walk-off win over a ranked opponent in the last three games.

The game was scoreless until the fourth inning, when the Crimson Tide hit an RBI double and capitalized on an OSU error to go up two runs.

Tia Warsop got the Cowgirls on the board thanks to an Alabama error in the fifth inning which allowed her to score.

The Tide pushed the lead to 3-1 in the seventh off an RBI single from Audrey Vandagriff before OSU’s heroics in the bottom of the inning.

Katie Kutz grabbed the win for the Cowgirls and moved to 4-1. Jocelyn Briski took the loss for Alabama and dropped to 1-4.

Offensive standouts for Oklahoma State included Davis (1-for-3 with the walk-off winner) and Edwards (1-for-3 with a double and two RBIs.)

The Cowgirls will return to action against SIU Edwardsville at noon on Feb. 21 in their opening game at the Michelle Short and Adam Brown Tournament in Conway, Ark.
