Oklahoma State to Host 2025 Top-100 Prospect

STILLWATER – Steve Lutz and Co. are not finished recruiting high school players in the 2025 class. According to a report from Joe Tipton of On3, Oklahoma State is set to host four-star center, Ben Ahmed, on an official visit.

Ahmed confimed the visit and said his visit begins today, February 26.

Ahmed checks in at 6-9, 300 pounds and plays his ball at Putnam (CT) Science Academy, but moved to the states roughly two years ago from Nigeria to pursue his basketball dreams.

He had committed to Miami (FL) back in October, before requesting his release from his signing earlier this month, just a few months after the Hurricanes’ head coach, Jim Larrañaga, announced he was stepping down back in late December.

The report shows Ahmed will be making official visits to Boston College and Penn State, as well as the Cowboys.

According to the 247Sports composite rankings, Ahmed checks in as the No. 98 overall prospect in the 2025 class, the No. 15 ranked center and the No. 2 player out of Connecticut.

The Cowboys currently have two 2025 HS prospects signed to the class in guard Ryan Crotty and big man Mekhi (Muh-K-eye) Ragland, who you can read about here for a refresher.
