STILLWATER – Oklahoma State has added another commitment out of the transfer portal, this time to help out the offensive line in Virginia Tech transfer, Bob Schick.

Schick was on campus this past weekend on an official visit and committed before he left Stillwater. He was a grad student at VT before he transferred, with one year of eligibility remaining.

Schick, who’s originally out of Midway, Utah, checks in at 6-6, 315 pounds, and he’s spent the past three seasons with the Hokies after starting his career at Snow College.

He played in 38 games for the Hokies, starting in 23 across the last two seasons, taking over 1,200 snaps. During his time as a starter, Schick did not allow a single sack.

This past season as a team, the Hokies combined for 2,319 yards and 28 touchdowns and 2,462 passing yards with 15 touchdowns.

Schick marks the 12th commitment out of the transfer portal for the Pokes, the sixth on the offensive side of the ball and the second offensive lineman, joining Appalachian State tackle, Markell Samuel.

They’ve added three wide receivers in Cameron Abshire, Terrill Davis and Christian Fitzpatrick. They’re joined by running back Freddie Brock.

On the defensive side of the ball, they’ve added defensive backs DeAndre Boykins and Eric Fletcher, edge rushers Wendell Gregory and Taje McCoy, Thomas and defensive tackle De’Marion Thomas.
