Santa Fe DE Landen Anderson Decommits From Kansas Following Oklahoma State Visit
STILLWATER – Oklahoma State hosted talented in-state defensive end out of Edmond Santa Fe, Landen Anderson, over the weekend. While it wasn’t completely unknown Anderson was in Stillwater, he didn’t post anything on his social media accounts because he was committed to Kansas. I say was because Anderson took to X Monday morning to announce he’s decommitted from the Jayhawks.
Anderson checks in at 6-4, 275 pounds and is coming off a solid personal season with the Wolves, recording 83 total tackles, 59 of which were solo stops, with 11 tackles for loss. He also had 11 quarterback hurries, one sack, one pass break up and one blocked field goal.
The Jayhawks were one of the early offers for Anderson way back on November 23, 2024. The Cowboys offered on January 7 and Anderson took a visit up to Lawrence on Jan. 25 for KU’s Junior Day, committing to the Jayhawks just two days later.
Anderson took an official visit to Arizona State on May 30, followed by an official visit to KU on June 6 and OSU this past weekend. He still has an official visit scheduled to Baylor on June 20.
The Cowboys lost a commitment from 2026 edge rusher, Jaylen Stewart, out of Pearland, TX, over the weekend following his official visit to Illinois. Stewart, who is currently deal with a broken hip, opens a spot up in the class, which currently sits at 12 commits.
