In Your Face: Oklahoma State Gets the Younger Presley, Braeden, as He Commits
STILLWATER – Bixby standout and the youngest member of the immensely athletic Presley family, Braeden, announced his commitment to Oklahoma State in the 2026 class.
Presley announced his top four schools on June 19. He had officially visited Oklahoma State on May 30, and they made the cut, as did Kansas State, Texas Tech, where he had visited earlier, and Oklahoma. By various reports from sites that cover Oklahoma Sooner recruiting, the OU brass of general manager Jim Nagy and head coach Brent Venables were making a heavy push to get the youngest Presley to Norman. Make no mistake that OU wanted to get a Presley in crimson and cream and they weren’t able to do it.
Braeden will now work to further the legacy of his family and older brother, Brennan, who left OSU as the Cowboys’ all-time leader in receptions. Braeden, because of size and experience, could make a more wide ranging impact than Brennan Presley, now with the Los Angeles Rams.

Braeden will likely make his biggest influence as a Cowboy on the defensive side of the football. The 6-1, 195-pound athlete can play safety, even corner on defense. He is also a good receiver on offense and can return kicks and punts. It has been a while since Oklahoma State has seen a two-way player, R.W. McQuarters being the most successful in the modern era. It is important to still note that the career interception leader at Oklahoma State is College Football Hall of Famer Bob Fenimore.
Back to the Presley commitment. He called Mike Gundy almost a week ago, so the OSU head coach has had plenty of time to buy some celebratory fireworks. Presley wanted to announce when the family was all together for the Fourth of July holiday.

This past season as a junior, Presley recorded 14 carries for 245 yards and two rushing touchdowns, with 25 receptions for 356 yards and four touchdowns. On the defensive side of the ball, where the Cowboys will start him out, Presley recorded 39 total tackles, three tackles for loss with four interceptions.
He has some traits of his two older brothers, but Braeden has much more size. Brennan finished his Cowboy career with 315 receptions for 3,315 yards and 23 touchdowns. He’s also one of just four OSU players with 5,000+ all-purpose yards, joining Barry Sanders, Thurman Thomas and Terry Miller.
Gundy has to be extremely excited as no matter what the national recruiting sites are saying or ranking, this Oklahoma State class is one of Gundy’s best with four four-star commitments and four players, three from Oklahoma, that former rival OU wanted badly.
Braeden is on that list and is joined by defensive tackles Danny Beale III from Cross County High School in Arkansas and Tajh Overton from Owasso High School. The other player is a son of a former OU star and that’s running back Kaydin “KD” Jones of Jenks. He is also joined by a teammate in Trey McGlothlin of Bixby, one of the other top defenders in the state of Oklahoma. This class, now 13 strong, has become a major in-state success for the Cowboys.
