FRISCO, Tx. – Day two of Big 12 Media Days down in Frisco kicked off early Wednesday morning, with the Oklahoma State contingent of Mike Gundy, Josh Ford, Iman Oates and Cam Smith making their appearance. After talking with several media outlets, no one, including the OSU media, know what the Cowboys are going to do this season.
One thing we know for sure is Mike Gundy is officially in the new EA Sports College Football ’26 game. Well, at least Mike’s name is in the game. No one’s sure if it’s his likeness though.
No one in their right mind thinks that’s actually Mike Gundy.
However, it certainly doesn’t bother the head coach. In fact, he thinks it’s pretty cool.
“I have not played [EA Sports College Football 2026], but I think it’s pretty cool someone put me in a video game. I don’t know if – somebody showed me a picture recently of it and they gave me a great hairdo. Like, I have really good hair, but that’s like permanent hair for like forever. But I’m good with it. I wish my royalties off it were as much as the players, but it should be fun.”
The new game dropped earlier this week, and I’m looking forward to giving it a run through with the Gundy-ran Cowboys.
