STILLWATER – Oklahoma State just announced the signing of Israeli guard, Daniel Guetta, to the upcoming 2025-26 roster.
Guetta committed to the Pokes at the end of June.
This gives Steve Lutz and Co. five international players.
“Daniel is a poised, unselfish guard who knows how to run a team,” Lutz said in the release from OSU. “He controls pace, sees the floor well, and knows how to get others involved. He’ll be a valuable piece in our backcourt.”
Guetta checks in at 6-2, is a combo guard and turns 22 years old this month. He played this past season with Maccabi Rehovot in the Liga Leumit in Israel, averaging nearly 10 points and five assists per game. He also led the team with 30 steals, had a better-than 2-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio and shot 35% from 3-point range.
Before playing with Maccabi Rehovot, he spent three seasons with Hapoel Gilboa Galil, where he helped win the 2024 National League title, which got the team promoted to the Israeli Premier League.
He also helped the Israeli junior national team win a silver medal at the FIBA U20 European Championship.
