STILLWATER – These are the final days of fall camp. Wednesday practice in helmets and shoulder pads was a little shorter. There was less 11-vs.-11 work and what they had was situations like third and fourth downs. There was more work on the perimeter than there was inside. It appeared the coaching staff was giving a slight reprieve on heavy contact. The team will be back in full pads on Thursday and likely, the physicality, which has been constant, will be ramped up again.

Almost two weeks away! I am of the mindset that a starter at QB needs to be found out before the season starts, I think solidifying the chemistry between him and the center and 1st team group is crucial to have a chance against a team like Oregon

It sounds like Gundy will play them both in the first game. If there hasn't been separation in practice, then that's what should happen.

I hope Meacham gets the RB's involved in the passing game. In the 1980's Jamal Fobbs and Thurman Thomas both caught the ball well. My favorite was the fake hand-off. They would then work through the middle of the line and find a spot behind the LB's in the middle of the field. If the LB doesn't pick them up as they come through the line they are wide open for an easy 7 yard catch with room to run.

Sounds like Offense has more questions everywhere than Defense. Especially since Rodney and Kawecki are not 100%, and we dont have a starting QB yet. Hopefully we iron out everything before Oregon game. Need the connection between Center/QB, WR1/WR2 and QB is very important.
