Mike Gundy Address Quarterback Situation In UT Martin Preseason Press Conference
STILLWATER – We’re exactly one week away from the start of the 2025 season for Oklahoma State football. While there are still several questions surrounding this team, one is rather glaring: what’s the quarterback situation look like?
Well, as expect, or at least I expected it, head coach Mike Gundy didn’t give an update on quarterbacks during his pre-game press conference on Thursday.
“I don’t have any update on that.”
Shocker.
But Mike did, however, have an update on how the quarterbacks are handling being in a competition and with new coaches.
“Both of them are competitive, both of them are learning, both of them are grinders, they’re athletic. The same things of a few weeks ago, that part hasn’t changed. Their attitudes have been really good in their ability to relate with their coaches.”
I don’t think it’s a secret both quarterbacks will play next week against UT Martin. In fact, it’s possible we could see both QBs play for quite a few games, if not all. But maybe not. No one knows, and that’s what makes it fun. Or not if you don’t like uncertainty.
