One of The Best and Most Interesting Hotels Oklahoma State Football Stays In
EUGENE, Ore. – Oklahoma State’s first wave of the travel party for this weekend’s big-time football battle with Oregon arrived this afternoon (Thursday). The Cowboys team charter will arrive on Friday afternoon. The headquarters for the Pokes in Eugene is a hotel where they stayed six-years ago in 2019 when they played Oregon State. Almost all of the visiting teams for games at Oregon and Oregon State stay in Eugene at The Graduate from Hilton.
The hotel is dedicated to Eugene and to the University of Oregon. The outside is painted an olive green. Inside the hotel are lots of references to Ducks, like the cover photo from the lobby.
Every bathroom in every room and even the public restrooms have wallpaper dedicated to water fowl (ducks).
The rooms have lots of references to Oregon, track and field, Animal House (the movie filmed on the Oregon campus), and Nike. There are even room keys dedicated to Nike and Oregon celebrities like the library card of Nike founder and CEO Phil Knight.
It really is one of the most unique hotels the Cowboy football team has stayed in. It is right up there with the haunted hotel in Clare, Mich. The Cowboys stayed at The Doherty Hotel before playing Central Michigan on the road to open the 2015 season.
