STILLWATER – On the surface with the numbers this was a winneable game, but what kept it from being that way in actuality was the first half dominance that Tulsa had. At halftime, Tulsa led 16-3. They had close to 10 minutes advantage in time-of-possession and they had run nearly double the number of plays that Oklahoma State had run on offense. For two teams still looking for an identity and trytin to get a foothold of confidence, being the front runner was important.
