STILLWATER – It’s been 48 hours since Oklahoma State fired head coach Mike Gundy. Since the news came out on Tuesday, Cowboy football has had five decommitments.
The first decommitment came from Jenks four-star running back, Kaydin Jones.
The most recent decommitment came from three-star quarterback out of Lancaster, TX, Kase Evans, who plays for Lexington.
"After many prayers and a long talk with my family, I have decided to decommit from Oklahoma st and reopen my recruitment," Evans said in a tweet. "I want to say a huge Thank you to Coach Gundy, Coach Meachum, Coach Gonzales, Coach KC, and especially Coach Johns for seeing my potential to make an impact at OSU. Looking forward to big things ahead!"
In four games so far for Lexington, Evans has 811 passing yards, 11 touchdowns and one interception.
The other three decommitments have come from La Vega (Waco, TX) WR Jabarie Thornton, Berryhill (OK) HS offensive lineman, Aiden Martin and Bixby (OK) HS LB Trey McGlothlin.
