Oklahoma State lost a perfect opportunity to snap a 16-game Big 12 losing streak on Saturday as they squandered a 14-point lead to lose to UCF, 17-14.
Interim head coach Doug Meacham met with the media following the game to discuss what went wrong. He’s what he had to say about the offensive letdown in the second quarter.
“What happened in the third quarter, play one, [UCF] hit an 80-yarder and we went three-and-out, and that’s what started it and we just couldn’t muster anything on offense in the second half, for whatever reason, and it didn’t look to me like they were doing anything crazy or different.”
