Isn't James Madison is still ranked higher than UNT.... whether that stays the same after the championship games remains to be seen.
Raj Murti and Various Personnel Staffers Arrive in Stillwater on Sunday Afternoon
STILLWATER – The biggest question surrounding Oklahoma State and Eric Morris is when will a staff be place in the West End Zone to start working on the roster, including a recruiting class. Well, we have our answer as Scott Wright is reporting North Texas GM Raj Murti and various personnel staffers are in Stillwater.
Pokes Report has learned they all showed up in Stillwater on Sunday, which correlates with two 2026 recruits decommitting from the class in Berryhill (OK) OL Aiden Martin and Lehi (UT) TE Bryton Niu.
There was also an offer sent out late last night, early Monday morning to Garden City C.C. interior offensive lineman, Steve Moore.
Just a few hours after being announced as the head coach, Morris extended an offer to four-star Carthage (TX) LB Carson Crawford.
With signing day just a few days away on December 3, having Murti and personnel staffers in Stillwater is imperative. There are currently seven commitments in the 2026 class, with the possibility of bringing current North Texas commitments and possible offers. There’s also the current roster that needs to be gone through to try and retain players who need to be retained, as well as putting together a transfer portal class.
Morris has announced he’s staying with the Mean Green through the end of the season, including any bowl game or playoff run. The Mean Green are facing Tulane in the American Conference title game this weekend down in New Orleans. If they win, they’re in the CFP. If they lose, I find it hard to believe Morris won’t be in Stillwater soon thereafter.
