STILLWATER – The Oklahoma A&M Board of Regents have approved the contract of Eric Morris, officially making Morris the head coach of Oklahoma State Cowboy football.

Morris and OSU agreed upon and signed a five-year contract worth $3.8 million per year, which is set to expire January 31, 2031.

The contract, which will have various performance incentives, includes a $100,000 pay raise each February 1.

Also included alongside the contract were the terms of buying out the remaining portion of Morris’ North Texas contract, with OSU set to pay $2,377,000.

Morris is in his second week as the head coach of Oklahoma State, having signed 15 prospects during the December signing period this past Wednesday, 13 high school players and two JUCO players, which includes Braeden Presley, Landon Bland and four-star Jenks running back, Kaydin ‘KD’ Jones.

Through this point in the 2025 season, Morris has led them to an 11-1 overall record and a berth in the American Conference title game against Tulane on Friday.

OSU is set to formally introduce Morris this coming Monday, December 8 at 1:30 p.m. CT at the OSU Alumni Center here on campus.
