STILLWATER – In a move that Pokes Report broke on a Premium story a week ago, Oklahoma State quarterback, Zane Flores, is set to enter the transfer portal.
The third-year redshirt freshman out of Gretna, NE, was thrown into the fire this season after starter Hauss Hejny went down with an injury shortly into the season opener. He finished the season with 1,490 yards and three touchdown passes on 159-of-266 passing with seven interceptions.
He also had 52 carries for 117 yards and two touchdowns.
Flores redshirted his freshman season in 2023 and received a medical hardship after having foot surgery last year. So, his first snaps came this season.
Flores graduated early from Oklahoma State this past weekend.
That leaves just two scholarship quarterbacks currently on the roster in Hejny and freshman Banks Bowen. Morris and Co. added incoming freshman quarterback, Broderick Vehrs, in the 2026 class in early December.
