Oklahoma State Winter Sports Barometer: Anything is Possible, but There Are Some Issues

Only wrestling of the three major winter sports at Oklahoma State is currently ranked, but both basketball teams are receiving votes. The Pokes are on track for lots of March action.

STILLWATER – Christmas brings a short break to all three of the major winter sports seasons. It is a natural break for both men’s and women’s basketball. The men have one final non conference game with Bethune-Cookman before opening Big 12 play on Jan. 3 at Texas Tech. The women opened Big 12 play at Cincinnati and went 1-0 to go with a 12-2 overall record. They will play Baylor in the Big 12 home opener in a matinee on New Year’s Eve.
