STILLWATER – Eric Morris and Co. have added another standout transfer wide receiver as four-star slot receiver, Chris Barnes, has committed to Oklahoma State via his Instagram.
Barnes checks in at 5-8, 170 pounds and is originally out of Texas powerhouse high school North Shore in Houston, TX.
This past season for the Demon Deacons, Barnes hauled in 39 catches for 547 yards and three touchdowns. He also had 13 carries for 143 yards and seven kick returns for 263 yards and one touchdown. At Wake Forest, Barnes played for new Oklahoma State receivers coach Nick Edwards.
Prior to his lone year at Wake Forest, Barnes began his career at Washington State in 2024, appearing in three games to preserve a redshirt.
Barnes is now the 42nd overall commitment out of the transfer portal for Morris and Co., and the sixth wide receiver.
