STILLWATER – Eric Morris and Co. have added another player out of the transfer portal, this time a defensive back from Missouri as Mose Phillips III has signed with Oklahoma State.

Phillips III checks in at 6-2, 200 pounds, and is originally out of Cane Ridge and Nashville, TN. This past season with the Tigers, Phillips III played in 11 games, recorded just five tackles, two of which were solo stops and 0.5 tackles for loss. He also forced one fumble and one pass breakup, the latter coming in a road win over OU.

Prior to his lone season in Columbia, Phillips III was a two-time letterwinner at Virginia Tech in 2023 and 2024. Across 25 games with the Hokies, he recorded 92 total tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, one sack, one interception, two forced fumbles and three pass break ups.

During the two seasons, Phillips III logged 1,105 career snaps.

Philips is now the 22nd defensive player added out of the portal, joining fellow safeties Quinton Hammonds (UNT), Vincent Holmes (UW), and returning OSU safeties Jeremy Cook Jr., Cameron Epps, Cooper Lai and Ayden Webb. He’s the 52nd overall player added out of the portal.
