STILLWATER – Oklahoma State had a sensational weeked of wrestling as a team with a 34-3 win on Friday night over No. 13 Northern Iowa that included a thrilling late takedown with a two-point near fall by OSU 165 pounder Dee Lockett to beat No. 6 Ryder Downey 6-4. Then on Sunday afternoon the Cowboys posted a 24-9 win over then No. 3-ranked Iowa State. Wins by No. 2 Sergio Vega over No. 3 Anthony Echemendia at 133 lbs; an upset with No. 12 Casey Swiderski beating Iowa State No.
