Junior College/High School Honors and Statistics: Earned All-Jayhawk Conference honors in his RS-Fr. season at Coffeyville with 62 tackles, four TFL, three sacks, two interceptions, three passes defended, one fumble recovery, one fumble caused. He had 15 punt returns for 146 yards, 9.7 yards per return, two for TDs with 50 yards being the longest; High School Sr. season - six carries for 29 yards, two TDs, five catches for 119 yards, three TDs, 75 tackles, 48 unassisted, one TFL, one sack, four interceptions, one returned for a TD, five fumbles caused.

Our Thoughts: Plays safety like a baseball centerfielder and even made a basket catch going backwards on an interception. He reads the ball so well and is physical in coverage. He is very physical when asked to play closer to the line-of-scrimmage. You can tell he likes that a lot and the production shows it. Has to watch his attraction to the quarterback as he can get caught peeking into the backfield too long.
