STILLWATER – As previously reported here on Pokes Report, Oklahoma State and new head coach Eric Morris will being spring football on Monday, March 9 and get three practices in that week before the players and the University as a whole breaks for spring break.
The major dates include a clinic for high school coaches on Friday, March 13. There is a scrimmage at the Jerry Winchester Family Practice Complex on Saturday, April 11 when the Boys from Oklahoma Concert is featured inside Boone Pickens Stadium. The spring game will wrap up the 15 days of allotted workouts on Saturday, April 18.
The media will be speaking with new quarterback Drew Mestemaker, running back Caleb Hawkins, and defensive roster returnees in defensive end Malik Charles and defensive end/edge rusher Jaleel Johnson on Thursday of this week, Feb. 17. Expect more information then.
All practices are open to high school coaches and to Oklahoma State football alumni. Coaches can email George Matsakis at george.matsakis@okstate.edu to RSVP to attend practice. Cowboy football alumni can email Rod Johnson at rod.johnson@okstate.edu to RSVP.
