STILLWATER – Oklahoma State starting center Parsa Fallah left with four seconds left in the 91-84 overtime win over West Virginia on Tuesday after going down with what appeared to be a serious left knee injury.

Following the game, head coach Steve Lutz didn’t have an update on the injury, but said Fallah’s knee would be evaluated to see the extent of the injury.

After being wheeled off the court in the wheelchair, Fallah joined the postgame press conference on crutches and gave an emotional message to the fanbase. He got choked up a few times and had to compose himself.

“First of all, I’m really, really grateful for this year that I had here,” Parsa Fallah said. “Oklahoma State was the best year I had in my college career and the fans, I just hope they know how much I really care about them and it was a great experience. So, I wanted to say thank you to every one of y’all. Also, I wanted to talk about coach [Steve] Lutz here. This man, I believe he’s one of the best coaches in the country; I’ve never seen a man work as hard as him. I think this is your guy and he will take you guys far. I really mean every word I’m saying, he changed my life and I’m really grateful for him. He made me a better man, a better person and a better player.
“I would just say thank you God, thank you Jesus Christ, good or bad, I always try to be grateful and appreciate God for what he gave me.”

Pokes Report will have an update on Fallah’s knee injury, and the Pokes are back in action this coming Saturday on the road at Cincinnati.
