Big 12 Releases Seeds for Conference Championships, Oklahoma State With Six Top Seeds

The Cowboys are going into the Big 12s this week as favorites at several weights.

STILLWATER – The Big 12 released the seeds for the upcoming Big 12 championships this weekend, with Oklahoma State holding six of the top spots.

133 Jax Forrest No. 1

149 Casey Swiderski No. 1

157 Ladon Robideau No. 2

165 LaDarion Lockett No. 1

174 Alex Facundo No. 1

184 Zack Ryder No. 2

The Cowboys enter the Big 12 Tournament as defending conference champions and on a 12-dual win streak, with their last lost and their last win coming against Iowa. The Hawkeyes took the first match up back in November at the National Duals Invitational, 18-16, with the Cowboys trouncing the Hawkeyes 32-11 on Feb. 22 here in Stillwater, the biggest win over Iowa since the early 1960s. 

The tournament is scheduled to take place March 6-7 at the BOK Center over in Tulsa. 

Here’s a list of programs for anyone who might not know the Big 12 wrestling programs: Arizona State, Iowa State, Oklahoma State and West Virginia are joined by affiliate programs from Air Force, Cal Baptist, Missouri, North Dakota State, Oklahoma, South Dakota State, Northern Iowa, Northern Colorado, Utah Valley and Wyoming.
