STILLWATER – Oklahoma State University has announced that Andrew Hamor has joined the OSU Foundation as Associate Vice President and Deputy Athletic Director for Development, serving as chief revenue officer supporting OSU Athletics. He had served as executive senior associate athletic director at the University of Texas since 2017 and has more than 15 years of leadership experience in development, revenue strategy and donor engagement.

Hamor's newly established position will focus on strengthening collaboration between University Advancement and the POSSE, the fundraising arm for OSU Athletics. He will oversee the integration of development strategies to further optimize resources, operations, fundraising and revenue production for OSU Athletics.

"In this dynamic period of change in college athletics, it is more important than ever to have innovative leadership, and I am thrilled to have Andrew serving in this new executive position," said OSU athletic director Chad Weiberg. "With his years of experience and demonstrated success, he's the perfect person to align our fundraising and revenue generation efforts to maximize our resources needed to compete for championships.

"Andrew, his wife Kiley and their son, Ike, will be great additions to the Stillwater community and OSU family."

Reid Sigmon will continue to serve as the chief operating officer for the athletic department as executive deputy athletic director. As part of maximizing OSU's fundraising efforts, Larry Reece will continue to serve in his role as senior associate athletic director for development, leading athletics' efforts in identifying, cultivating and raising principal gifts.

"Oklahoma State leads the Big 12 in the number of conference and national championships won and we have no intention of relinquishing that status," Weiberg said. "Our superpower in that continuing quest for greatness has always been our people. "I'm grateful for the outstanding job Reid Sigmon has done in his four-plus years with OSU Athletics. He is highly respected in college athletics and integral in everything we do.

"There is no one better positioned than Larry Reece to lead the principal gift efforts supporting OSU Athletics," he added. "There is no OSU fan that won't take a call from Larry, and it is critical that we are connecting with every Cowboy and Cowgirl fan that has an interest in helping us compete for championships."

About Andew Hamor

Andrew Hamor is a graduate of Kansas State University, where he earned an undergraduate degree in business management and finance, and a Master of Science in education. He advanced through the ranks in Manhattan from a compliance assistant to assistant director of K-State's Ahearn Fund and eventually assumed the role of Director of Annual Giving.

In 2013 he was named assistant athletic director for development and annual giving at Texas, where he oversaw unprecedented growth in membership in the Longhorn Foundation and in annual gifts among his list of accomplishments.

Hamor returned to his alma mater in 2015 as associate athletic director for development for K-State and once again played a part in record-setting growth while developing and launching the master plan campaign for Kansas State's baseball and soccer facilities as well as completing fundraising for the most recent upgrades to Bill Snyder Family Stadium.

His return to Austin in 2017 as executive senior associate athletic director saw him oversee massive growth in facility fundraising and development. He helped lead the $750 million athletics portion of the university's What Starts Here campaign, which resulted in more than $1.3 billion in gifts to support Texas Athletics.

Hamor's appointment supports the accelerating momentum of The Code Calls, OSU's comprehensive fundraising campaign, which focuses heavily on student support. He will work to elevate the student-athlete experience and to support OSU's investment in championship-level infrastructure and expanded opportunities for all Cowboys.
