STILLWATER – Jacie Hoyt and Co. have added another player out of the transfer portal in former Baylor guard Yuting Deng.

Deng is a 6-2 guard out of Hunan Province, China, and Yali HS. She joined Auburn for the final 13 games of the season as a freshman before transferring to Baylor for her sophomore season. At Auburn she started in eight of those games and averaged nearly 12 points and three rebounds per game.

She recorded a career-high 27 points and nine rebounds against Vanderbilt.

While at Baylor, Deng played in 33 games and averaged nearly seven points per game, which included a season-high 22 points against Texas Tech. She also hit the double figure mark seven times this past season.

She had nine points on 3-of-6 shooting from 3-point range against Oklahoma State in the 77-68 win over the Pokes back in Dec. 31.

Deng joins a stacked transfer recruiting class, which includes Liv McGill, Audi Crooks, Talexa Weeter, Ellie Brueggemann, LA Sneed, Nene Ndiaye and Zoe Canfield.
