STILLWATER – Oklahoma State football and Michigan State have inked a contract for a home-and-home series. The Cowboys will host the Spartans on September 16, 2028, and the Cowboys will travel up to East Lansing on September 15, 2029.
This series replaces the home-and-home contract signed between OSU and Alabama as the SEC has moved to a nine-game league schedule. There was a lot of doubt as to whether this series would’ve been played before a home-and-home against Michigan State was signed.
This will also mark the first time these two teams have played and will mark the first home game against a traditional Big Ten for the Pokes.
The upcoming Power 4 non-conference series on the schedule for the Pokes will be against Arkansas in 2027, 2032 and 2033, Michigan State in 2028 and 2029, Nebraska in 2034 and 2035 and Oregon this fall.
The Cowboys kick the upcoming 2026 season off on the road against Tulsa on September 5.
