Oklahoma State Lands 2027 Bolingbrook (IL) RB TJ Lewis

STILLWATER – Eric Morris and Co. have added their running back in the 2027 class as TJ Lewis announced his commitment to the Pokes on Friday night.

Lewis checks in at 6-0, 215 pounds and is out of Bolingbrook, IL. He holds at least 20 offers and chose the Pokes over Indiana, Illinois, Iowa State, Kansas, Kansas State, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Missouri, OU, Penn State and Wisconsin among others.

He’s taken official visits to Indiana (June 19), Kansas (June 12), Minnesota, UConn (May 29), Illinois (April 17) and was at Oklahoma State this past weekend.

This past season was a monster season for Bolingbrook as he rushed for 1,784 yards and 21 touchdowns on 227 carries. 

Following the season, he was named to the 2025 IHSFCA 8A All-State Team, the highest classification of football in Illinois. 

Lewis is now the 10th commitment in the 2027 class for Morris and Co. and the seventh commitment on the offensive side of the ball as he joins QB Carson White, WRs Cooper Hooker and Ake O’Neal, TE Talan Scott and OLmen Jake Baker and Sonny Mullen.
