STILLWATER – It will go down as one of the top Pro Football Hall of Fame Games as far as entertainment value. Carolina came from behind with a rookie quarterback Haynes King scoring on a scramble on the last play of the game for the Panthers to win 33-30. Few starters played, but former Oklahoma State receiver Bryson Green had one of the plays of the game when he caught a touchdown pass late.
Green caught the pass from Kedon Slovis sliding in the side of the endzone. After an official review the call of out-of-bounds was overturned and it was ruled a touchdown.
The 6-1, 207 pound Green was part of Oklahoma State’s 2021 recruiting class and came with his brother from Allen High School in Texas. He played in 12 games and started six as a freshman. He had 12 receptions for 139 yards and two touchdowns.
In 2022 he improved with 36 catches for 584 yards and five touchdowns. Against Texas Tech that season he sealed the win with a touchdown catch and had five receptions for 115 yards. Later he had five receptions for 133 yards and a touchdown in the win over Texas.
After the season he went into the transfer portal and transferred to Wisconsin. In two seasons he had 49 receptions for 699 yards and four touchdowns.
Green spent 2025 on the Arizona Cardinals practice squad. It would appear that Green’s chances of making the 53 man have improved.
