Eric Morris and Co. are still looking to add a few players in the 2027 class and on Thursday, three-star edge Nasir Braxton announced an offer from Oklahoma State.
Braxton checks in at 6-4, 230 pounds, is an edge for Decatur (GA) HS and holds several offers across multiple sports. In football, Braxton holds offers from OSU, East Carolina, Liberty, Navy and UTSA, as well as an offer to play Lacross at Pitt and Virginia State among others. He also wrestles and swims on the Decatur team. Just a physical specimen as you can see by the title of his Hudl highlight calling himself a manchild.
This past season as a junior, Braxton shows to have played in just four games, recording 14 total tackles, four tackles for loss and three sacks. But depending on the size and success of the high school, a good number of programs don’t keep accurate defensive stats on MaxPreps.
Back to physical specimen. Braxton plays football at 230 pounds, but has wrestled for the Bulldogs between 190 pounds and 215 pounds where he has a 67-7 HS record and a Dekalb County title at 190 pounds following an impressive junior season in which he finished with a 14-1 overall record.
According to the 247Sports composite rankings, Braxton is currently ranked as the No. 988 overall prospect in the 2027 class, the No. 83 edge and the No. 116 prospect out of Georgia.
