STILLWATER – We’re less than a week away from Oklahoma State Football’s season opener against Tulsa on September 5, and OSU has dropped the first official depth chart of the Eric Morris era.

There aren’t too many surprises on the depth chart, which features quarterback Drew Mestemaker, running back Caleb Hawkins and starting wide receivers Chris Barnes, Justin Bowick and Miles Coleman or Wyatt Young.

Tight end is nothing but ‘Ors’, but the offensive line is fairly set in the stone for game one as Jacob Sexton is at left tackle, Johnny Dickson III or Desmond Magiya at left guard, Tyler Mercer at center, Joseph Hanson at right guard and Ashton Leop or Shaun Torgeson at right tackle.

The defense is less set in stone as there are multiple ‘ORs’ across the chart, but it features multiple returners from last year’s team, including Jaleel Johnson at defensive end, LaDainian Fields or Kobi Foreman at one cornerback position. Malik Charles is right behind Johnson at end, Iman Oates will rotate with Braylon Rigsby at defensive tackle and DeSean Brown is being James Williams at RUSH, the other edge.

The returners are as Robert Allen projected with Chris Barnes and Miles Coleman at kickoff return and Miles Coleman at punt return.
