A former Cowboy is taking the state of Ohio by storm. Justin Campbell’s baseball career once looked doomed to never get started but the Cleveland Guardians showed patience with their right-handed prospect.

The Guardians selected Campbell 37th overall in the 2022 MLB draft after a stellar career with Oklahoma State. A subsequent series of arm injuries prevented Campbell from seeing the field in what would have been his first three professional seasons.
