Homecoming on Hold for Oklahoma State, Oct. 24 Big 12 Games on Six-Day Window for TV
STILLWATER – The only worse news than finding out that you have an 11 a.m. kickoff for homecoming is finding out that you won’t know when your kickoff will be until late Saturday night or early Sunday morning a week out. The Big 12 television partners which select games and assign kickoff times, usually 12 days in advance, have put the majority of the Big 12 schedule for Saturday, Oct. 24, which includes Oklahoma State homecoming as they host Colorado on six-day windows for selection.
The West Virginia at TCU game has been assigned an 11 a.m. kickoff and will be televised on ESPN2. That still leaves two 11 a.m. windows on FOX or ESPN. On homecoming, Oklahoma State University, its’ fans, and local merchants all prefer anything other than 11 a.m. and would prefer a primetime kickoff.
The other Big 12 games on that date that will wait along with Oklahoma State and Colorado to find out their starts time are:
BYU at UCF
Texas Tech at Cincinnati
Houston at Utah
Baylor at Kansas
Iowa State at Arizona
Kansas State at Arizona State
All schools should find out something either late Saturday night (Oct. 17) or early Sunday morning (Oct. 18).
