Social Media is always an interesting place after a loss. Houston beat Oklahoma State 35-32 on Saturday night at TDECU Stadium.
As usual college football had its effect on the fans who invest probably too much emotion into their favorite teams.
The main storyline for Oklahoma State was the inability to stop a potent Houston attack. After an interception on the opening Cougar drive Oklahoma State’s defense would only get off the field without giving up points twice.
One player who many expected to have a big game was receiver Justin Bowick. Bowick finished with three catches for 27 yards and a touchdown. He also landed just barely out of bounds on the Cowboys first possession on a play which would have scored. It left some fans scratching their heads wondering why he didn’t have more.
Several in the media still believe in the offense even if they are critical of the man calling the plays.
There is still optimism in the fanbase with regards to a potential berth in the Big 12 championship. The road is now more complicated but several other contenders have hard schedules to navigate.
